When my family and I began searching for a home in late May, it was easy to feel underwhelmed. The prices were high, and it seemed as though we would be stuck in the endless cycle of rent, move, repeat that was our reality for the past several years. We were using real estate listings websites to look for homes in our area, and the story was always the same: the home was either too expensive, too small, or too old. No matter how many filters we used, we just couldn’t find a home that fit our needs within our budget. Just when I was about to give up and call the landlord to renew our lease, we met Shawna. We were extremely impressed with Shawna’s expertise, particularly when it came to scheduling tours (I’m pretty sure that we toured 6 homes in one day, all within a moment’s drive of our preferred location, and finished in time to have dinner with our 2 -year-old). She tactfully ignored our squabbles as we bickered over cabinet colors and doorknobs like a true professional, and helped to lead the conversation in a more productive direction (My wife’s opinion. I thought I made some great points). In the end, we chose one of the first homes that we toured. Throughout the purchase, Shawna was there to explain everything, from the home inspection process to the taxes, which helped us feel at ease. Shawna was amazing!!! She drove over 2 hours each time we wanted to go see a
couple house, and was organized and made sure everyone’s schedules were kept. Shawna kept track of everything making sure the builders stuck to the given timeline as close as possible.
